The first SSB contest with a bit of SO2R.
I just tested, what’s SO2R about, what is necesary to set up and build. I had bad second radio antennas, so I was only able to receive on radio 2.
I was not able to produce any pileup, so I worked mostly S/P. During CQs there were many weak signals, so I had to be often focused to listen only one radio. There is a lot to improve to have real SO2R station.
Conditions were poor on high bands, only few QSOs on 15m, low bands better. I also missed second openings on 20m… There is more and more really high power stations, often hand in hand with bad signals (wide, splattered, overcompressed) which is decreasing playground especially for low power and QRP guys.
Thaks to everybody, who took part! I enjoy to CW.
