„Unfortunately“ good conditions on high bands, since this is my weak point. But I made my the best SSB WPX result ever, so… OK.

I started on 40m/80m and hoped in 6-points. But 20m was the main band, so I moved there. High bands was in perfect shape, long opened almost all the time. Sometimes I had something like pileup, mainly in the time of Dx cluster spot. Unfortunately, many stations profited from good high bands and care less about low bands, so I had problem with rate on 40m, which was much full in the times of high bands off, which brought advantage to me in the past.

Many signals was weak, it took minute or two to complete QSO, so SO2R was not so productive sometimes. One radio precise S&P was more productive due to a lot of mults from all parts of the world on high bands.

Still a lot of stations believe in DX cluster info. Guys often called evidently to someone else. They didn’t care about my „QSO B4“ info. On the other hand, a lot of CQ stations rely on propagation of his callsign through cluster spots. Sometimes I had to call guy and ask for his callsign… SSB is not FT8, folks.

It’s time to think about auxiliary tower with tribander, but I don’t have much free time due to non HAM circumstances. Will see…
