Mr. Murphy was here – the whole setup tested day before. New joke in the shack: Windows update just 5 minutes before the contest disabled some SW functions, so panic restart, fortunately 11:59 was everything in operation again.

Conditions was fine, but I missed better 10m. 15m was very fine, low bands in usual summer mood.

Storm came just in the time of morning 20m opening to NA, with 5-pointers pileup. But lightnings every few seconds everywhere around tells: safety first, all cables disconnection. Direct lightning strike was strong nightmare. Almost 2 hours lost.
