I came back to ARRL SSB after two years pause. Again single band, 40m, due to my work duty during the weekend days.

This year contest season continue in weaker propagation. I had real pileup just in the beginning. Then it went down. I tried also run split a bit, sometimes it worked well, sometimes not. A few moments of S&P, but of low effectivity. 40m full of stations, one over another, related to narrow USA slot. Also many splatters, I had to be „filters creative“ many times, hi.

Lower QSO numbers than in 2022, mults the same, +33% operating time… not many reasons to participate next year, will see.

Thanks to all, especially to those few patient guys willing to repeat calls and states for minutes.
