This was the first contest with „new“ (second hand) FT-1000MP MarkV Field, fully filtered. Realy big diference compared with IC-706 MkII. Also antenna details were remade more precisely, which caused improving of SWR from 1:1,65 to 1:1.05 at 1.835 MHz. Second advantage is bandwidth from 1.81 to 1.95 (SWR 1:2).
Conditions was quite good, I was able to make some nice DX with Low Power (some of nice ones: JA, JT, P4, C5). Using of any RX ant is the key point.
