CQ WW 160m CONTEST SSB 2017

Contesting just for fun and for full time contesters donation by few points.

I was limited by my job – weekend working shifts. I decided to run this contest to feel SSB contesting after very long period with only CW contests (cca 1 year). Traffic was difficult, a lot of QRM and spletters from „real High Power“ stations, not rare of 6 kHz width… And very often they were TX only, deaf to warnings about frequency occupation or that weak DX is on frequency which they decided to catch.

Interesting DX conditions, I was not able to work with NA stations (1x VE, 1x K), but 3 Top Band SSB Caribbean new ones in the log.

Hardware worked fine, missing of RX antenna is notable. Major part of stations were covered by S9+ blanket. I played with filters a lot, hi.
